When Paula can get Ted to go away and watch TV for a while (generally the X-files or Babylon 5), she likes to read a lot and listen to folk and singer-songwriter music. The best place to talk about the music is on the folk_music newsgroup, and the best place to look for live shows near you is Musi- Cal.

We used to brew our own beer, when we lived in Houston, but have had bad luck brewing since moving to Phoenix. The current theory is that our house is simply too warm in summer for the yeast to ferment. We plan to try again when the weather cools a bit.

Once in a rare while, we get creative with our cooking, usually as a result of necessity. Try one of our recipes.

Oh, and we also have to work for a living to afford all our gear, beer, and trip money. Paula is currently working as a contractor at Boeing, and Ted is an applications engineer at ASML.
