I bought Zeus from Bonnie Sowers in Southern California and he was my second Bull Terrier.
My first BT was Danny (see his page). Zeus was quite a challenge in his early years. Two weeks after we got him,
he was doing hucklebutts and spins on the bed and flew into orbit off the edge and fell on his hip, resulting in a spiral
break down his right hind leg. His first real go at remodeling was when he decided to remove the metal water line that went
into the kitchen. We came home to find him sleeping peacefully on the couch while the back yard flooded. After that he
ripped through tin, then 1/2, 3/4 and last, 1 inch plywood with style, to get through the skirting of our mobile home and out of
the back yard. After four attempts with successively heavier material we still came home from work to find him sitting on the
front porch waiting for us. I gave up and started taking him to work with me, which of course was his plan all along.
Through it all he was a gentleman and a love. He loved all people, other animals, any kind of food, toys and very "short" walks and
camping. He was always cold in the winter but he loved to "dress-up" in sweatshirts, scarfs, T-shirts and anything that got him attention.
He was a clown and the life of any party.
When my husband divorced me I had to fight for custody of Zeus and he became my best "bud" and constant companion
for the rest of his life. His Bull Terrier sensitivity and love helped me through some really hard years and I missed him
horribly when he took his journey across the Rainbow Bridge. This whole web site is my way to say, "I still love and miss you Zeus
and thank you for having such a big Bull Terrier heart".
