Germanfest walk

The Germanfest walk is Saturday, June 15, 2002 at Headwaters Park in Fort Wayne. Start anytime between 8 a.m. (EST) and 11 a.m. Headwaters Park is located just north of downtown Fort Wayne at Clinton and Superior streets.

Three Rivers Festival walk

The Three Rivers Festival walk is Saturday, July 20, 2002 at the University of St. Francis. Start anytime between 7 a.m. (EST) and 10 a.m. The University of St. Francis is located at Spring Street and Lindenwood Avenue, west of downtown Fort Wayne

Fort Wayne YREs

The Three Rivers Strollers sponsor to Year-Round events. One starts at the VA Medical Center, 2121 Lake Ave. The walk includes the Lakeside Park neighborhood, several city parks and downtown. The VA Medical Center is open every day. The other walk, which is new for 2002, starts at Hall's Original Drive-in Restaurant, 1502 Bluffton Road. It includes Foster Park, the nearby neighborhood and goes to the edge of downtown. While the starting points for the two walks are several miles apart, the trails come within a block of intersecting. Hall's is closed New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
