The day light hours are becoming shorter and the temperature is getting colder, summer has left a spectacular burst of colour in it wake. Never the less this is a great time of the year to be outside to take in the fresh air and the colours. In the Laurentians of Quebec the forests in the autumn are magestic and inspiring.
At this time of the year I spend as much time in the county and walking in the forest as I possibly can. In the galleries I have posted photographs that were taken on the first two weekends of October 1999. More photos taken in October 2000 and 2001 have been added. Year after year I marvel at the colour and beauty of the fall season. It is my favorite time of year for taking pictures
