The Earth on which we all live is alive and beautiful. On this website I have placed some scenic photography of my little corner of the planet. Nature has been kind enough to provide four distinct seasons, which create a variety scenic elements for landscape photography. Come in relax and take a virtual walk in the woods by viewing my photos. If you like what you see be sure to check out the links to other great scenic and nature photography websites. In the autumn nature puts on a colourful show for a few short weeks. This is a wonderful season to walk or hike in the forests and woodlands of Eastern Canada. Naturally outdoor photography at the end of September and the beginning of October can produce breathtaking images that are pleasing to the eye. The multicolored leaves of the autumn forests are an exquisite setting for a scenic photographer. Walking Among the trees and colored leaves in October can be exhilarating. In the galleries of this site you can see beautiful photographs taken in the Laurentians north of Montreal during the first two weekends of October 1999.

The photos on this site are suitable for viewing by anyone, erotic photography and nudity may be found elsewhere on the net. For those of you who enjoy outdoor activaties, adventure or just beautiful scenery, you have surfed in to the right place. Although by the title of this site you might assume it is exclusively about autumn, this should change when the first snowflakes of winter fall. I hope to include scenic photos from all seasons. One of the advantages of living in Montreal is the variety of outdoor scenery the four seasons provide a photographer.

In order to save download time I have arranged my photos as thumbnails on small gallery pages so you may pick and choose the ones you wish to view. I have also made it easy to click between galleries. From this page you click on menu and a list of galleries and articles will appear. I have tried to limit the file size of the images as much as possible with out compromising the quality of the photograph. Many websites contianing photography and graphics can be quite slow to load because of the amount of data that must be transmitted, I have tried to overcome this by keeping my code simple and number of images, animations and special effects to a minimum.

The main focus of my web site is to show the scenic beauty of the outdoors. Outdoor photography is closely related to Eco-tourism, conservation and environmental issues. It goes without saying that landscape photography is not very popular in polluted areas. Photographs of  clear-cut forests, garbage dumps, filthy foam covered water would not be my first choice of images I would like to view through a lens. Not many people that I know want to go swimming in polluted lakes and rivers or hiking in landfills. I am looking into placing links to web sites of organizations and experts in environmental issues. There are simple things that we all can do, like sorting and recycling garbage, walking or riding a bicycle instead of driving, and being wise in the use of products we buy. Ordinary people can make a difference to the health of the environment

I have always been an outside person and have enjoyed camping, hiking, skiing, canoeing and sailing. I have also traveled across Canada by land several times and of course I took pictures. I have camped and hiked in Banff, I toured Prince Edward Island by bicycle. I have driven through truly beautiful country scenery of Charlevoix region in Quebec to get to Tadoussac to see whales in The Lower St Lawrence. Going to Alaska to see wild bears catching salmon as they return to spawn is a dream of mine. I have a deep appreciation for nature and the earth on which we all live.
