This page will contain information relating to the more popular bass tournament lakes in Indiana. It will include current reservoir levels and useful information on Indiana Lakes.
This page is a work in progress and I will be adding data very frequently as I compile more statistics. If you have a lake that you would like listed or would like specific information that is not provided, please email me at mjmorgan@oocities.com and I will try and include all the information that I can find.
I want this site to be a useful tool for tournament bass fishermen/women and your input and/or constructive criticism (or an occasional compliment) is both welcomed and encouraged.
Thanks
M.J.
Weekly Fishing Condition Update May 3, 1999: The water levels at most lakes have been very stable and the water at most lakes is clear to stained depending on the lake. No muddy conditions noted. The water temps at Geist, Monroe, and Patoka are now running 58-66 degrees. The bass are beginning to really feed and some have been spotted on nests. The weather conditions are stable and fishing is good to excellent. The fish are moving shallow with the warmer temps and are hitting spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, slugos, and some big fish have been caught in a little deeper water on crankbaits and carolina rigs. If there is shallow cover, try worms, lizards, and jig/pig combos.Patoka May 7, 1999: Water clear to stained, temps in upper 60's. Fish in holding pattern for spawning. Lots of fish caught on mud banks with stumps and lay downs in river and main lake on jigsand lizards by pitching. Early morning jerk baits on main lake points and over grass beds. Some spinner bait fish caught. Should be bedding in 3-4 weeks.(Thanks to Jack June).
