Well we are blessed in New Zealand. Access to the great outdoors is so easy. Never more than an hours drive to some form of national or state park, walkway, river or mountain range. It is hard to imagine in these days that any danger really exists. Please be aware that New Zealand is an
Island nation with very changeable weather. These
mountains can and do kill. A little preparation and planning never
