As an education major, a pre-school teacher, and a mother, I know the importance
of good books in a child's life. I also have had the benefit of reading many children's
books. Listed here are my favorites. Now that I have split my book store into
different pages I will be adding new titles here, so please stop in again soon!
Love You Forever is such a cute book about a mother raising a child. At
each stage in his
life, no matter what trouble he caused, the mother would sneak into his room at
night and pick him up. She would rock him back and forth, back and forth and sing:
I love you forever, I like you for always,
as long as your living by baby you'll be.
Comet's Nine Lives is a wonderful story for young children.
It tells of the adventures of Comet the cat with beautiful full
page illustrations.
The Secret Shortcut is a creative story of what could happen
to two imaginative children on their way to school. This book
also has full page colorful illustrations.
Hatful Of Seuss:Five Favorite Dr. Seuss Stories:Horton Hears Who!,
If I Ran The Zoo, Sneeches, Dr. Seuss' Sleep Book,
Bartholomew and the Oobleck
Christian Videos for Children

VeggieTales is a great series of tapes for children. They are animated
movies that star vegetables. I thought it was a silly idea till I watched
one. They use stories from the Bible, but change the characters and setting.
They are musical and great for any age. Here are few to choose from.
VeggieTales: Where's God When I'm Scared?
I think the title says it all.
VeggieTales: Are You My Neighbor?
About loving people who are different.
VeggieTales: Dave and the Giant Pickle
About self-esteem
VeggieTales: Rack, Shack, and Benny
Based on Meschach, Shadrack and Abednego in the furnace.
About peer pressure.
Veggie Tales: God Wants Me to Forgive Them?!?
once again the title says it all.
