Links Policy

1. Safety:
   1. All content on the web pages should be appropriate for all scouts, scout leaders, and their family members. These are kid-friendly pages.
   2. The Two Click Rule: If links to other sites are added, then all pages within two links are also appropriate for kids to see.
   3. If we add pictures of events after an event, in no case will a child's picture be labeled with the child's name.
   4. Phone numbers, e-mail addresses, or other personal information about an ADULT leader (other than just the person's name and position) will only be available on the page with the explicit request of that adult.
   5. Names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, or other personal information about a CHILD will not be available on our pages at all.
2. Content:
   1. In order to maintain focus and conserve space, all information on our pages should be useful or interesting to scouters in the Tatanka district.
   2. All information on the web page should be the latest available.
   3. These web pages should be primarily for information content - names, dates, places, descriptions. This is not the place for opinions, issues, or advertisements.
   4. All pages here will abide by the Scout Oath, Law and Spirit. They will be in good taste, be honorable of Scouting and respectful of copyrights. [This is actually the only requirement of our web host, but it was phrased so well that I thought it bore repeating.]
3. Procedure:
   1. All web page submissions should be given to the web-master at a scout meeting or by contacting him at troop145@yahoo.com  The web page will be checked for content and then you will be notified if your page has "passed" and will be added as soon as possible.
