It's to bad not everybody has enough intelligence to understand the traditions, comradery, pioneering, challenges, life long lessons, and pure enjoyment of the outdoors that us hunters take with each time we go on a hunt. Success isn't impor ant, it's icing on the cake. I am 28 years old and hunt Blacktails in Northern CA with my brothers, Dad, and Grandpa. Grandpa is in his 80's but still loves to go. I SAVOR every moment we all spend together in the "woods" knowing with another fiery sun et another day is gone. I feel the kinship with the past, and the terrible press of time as it marches on unrelenting. I don't want to cheat time but I wish every season could be like it is now. We are afraid we'll spend our $ and not get a great outfitter. I've been to l cal sports shows and have talked to outfitters and have looked at all the websites. I'm still afraid to make a decision. Do you have any ideas or know some you could recommend? We gun hunt and archery hunt whitetails and turkeys here in Minnesota. Haven t had a lot of luck yet, but we keep trying.
