THE BOYS' BRIGADE ELEVENTH SINGAPORE COMPANY SINCE 1974 TO 2000

             The Boys' Brigade 11th Singapore Company was formed in April 1974 under the joints efforts of Mr. Edgar Ramalingam (Brigade Organizer), Mr. Jacob Ghanamuthu (Ex-Captain), Mr. Daniel Kovipillai (Former Principal) and the late Rev. Abraham Caldwell (Vicar of Christ Church cum Chaplain of Company).

            11th Company started with 60 Boys and was the FIRST uniformed group formed in Christ Church Secondary School.

Events between 1973 - 1983
-First outing in the form of hike from Seletar Reservoir to Bukit Timah
-First participation in school event was the School first Athletic Meet
-First participation in Brigade event was the Church Parade at Toa Payoh Methodist Church
-First invited function was from 6th Coy for campfire at Paya Lebar Methodist Church
-From then on, 11th became very actively involved in Brigade, School, Community, Battalion, Church and other Coy activities.
-NCOs are seconded to other Companies to assist them in their recruitment campaigns
-Boys received several games training and gymnastics training as well
-11th took part in the Brigade BCFT games and has been the Soccer Champion for 5 times
-emerged champion again in the 1st Battalion games day in 1982

-11th actively involved in community services like the Inctape was assisted in their event at Singapore Zoological Garden, Wonderland in Kallang, PUB Soccer games at their recreation club at Braddell Rd, South East Asia Amateur Swimming Club's Opening Ceremony, visiting charitable homes, selling flags
-1983, done services to School for the Blind and the Cheshire Old Folks' Home Battalion level
-Services rendered to Christ Church and Epiphany Church in painting chairs and spring cleaning
-Services also rendered to the Billy Graham Crusade in Dec 1978 and the Gospel Rally in June 1983.
-1983, the first combined LTC / RTC
-2 visitors stayed with the Coy for a period of time, Mr. James Wong (1st Sibu Company in Sabah, stayed about a year) and a Sergeant from BB in Scotland who stayed for a month

-1983, Ag Captain : Mr. G Rajamoorthi (Christ Church Sec Sch Principal) and

2IC : Mr. Raymond Tan
-1983, coy took over the school band hoping to revive it 
-1983, 11th Company was presented our own company flag
