We are a group of 16 girls aged between 6 to 11. Our Country Town where we meet was settled in 1839 after it was found there was a lot of slate in the area so a quarry was opened and it is still in use to this day! Our area is also famous for its wine grapes and we also grow almonds.Every year we have an Almond Blossom Festival and for the past 2 years we have had the Tour Down Under (a bike race) go through our town.
As a group we love to do craft, play games, sing songs, tell stories and fundraising. At the moment we are fundraising for a new Guide/Scout hall.
