We live about 40 miles south of Williamsburg VA, so we live and breath American history here. Our little town, Great Bridge, was the site of a battle during the Revolutinary War, and of course part of the Civil War was fought here, too. We have the largest Navy base in the world her, 15 minutes nort of us in Norfolk, and our beach area is 15 east in VA. Beach. 10 minutes south and you hit the N.C. state line!
