Randy's Fishing Page

This page is devoted to the replies that I receive from the fishing techns. survery. I hope this page will grow because this is were the knowledge from more experinced fisherman can be passed on to the average fisherman.
My favorite techniques
I like to fish crankbaits a lot of the time because they are very verisatle and can be used in any conditions. My favorite crankbait is the baby one minus what I like about this bait it rattles like a rattle trap, but has the action of a zarra spook, and dives only a foot deep. I use the baby one minus over very thick cover that is just under the water this usual causes severe attacks by the big bass if done right. I use a slow twitching retrieve I will twitch a couple of times and stop and reel in the slack line.
Dan's Favorite Techniques
Dan likes topwater he states "I like to fish them really slowley over weedbeds...it often will bring the fish out of the weeds to strike."
Left by a anonymous person
This person likes topwater baits also, he states. "This is a great lure for catch and release because it usually possesses a single hook, and doesn't harm the fish much. It is also very effective, especially in calm water conditions. prefer to use it in mirky water, or after a heavy rain it does however, work well in clear water conditions as well. I like the thrill of that big lunker hitting and coming out of the water with it...that's why I like topwater fishing.
Left by Stephen
Stephen states that he likes fishing a 4" lizzard Caarolina rigged and druged over structure. The bass seem to like the action of the lure and the slow dragging of the lure. Seems to make them hit it with out thought.
