MY NEW MEXICO ANTELOPE HUNT

Two years ago, while at the Michigan Deer Spectacular in Lansing, MI., I entered a drawing for a free big game hunt with the "OUTDOOR AMERICA" TV show. Needless to say, I WON !! I went on an all expense payed trip with Steve Gruber, host of the "Outdoor America" show to New Mexico to bowhunt for trophy antelope. On the second day of the hunt, I shot this Pope and Young antelope buck as he followed his harem of does in to a watering hole at a mere 20 yards !

Three of the six hunters in camp took trophy animals, thanks to the expert guidance of Leon Pierce, our outfitter.

Joey Schultz of Lansing MI. took this beautifull 18" antelope buck on the third day of the hunt. His dad, Dr. Will Schultz, took a 16" buck the following day !
