Ham & Cabbage Carlisle
One small canned ham. (Preferably  one that does not require refrigeration.)
One head of  cabbage.
Two Onions.
One potato per person.
Chop cabbage and onions and cover with water.
Bring to a boil.
Add thick sliced potatoes and cubed ham.
Season to taste.
When potatoes are cooked remove from heat and serve with bread and jelly.
