The Scouting for Food program is a United Food Collection Campaign coordinated by the Boy Scouts and the United Way. This year fourteen boys in Pack 157 participated in the program collecting 601 items of food and household products.

Using the Unit Value Guide which attached points to the food items, based on the most needed items receiving the higher values, the boys in the pack collected items totaling 1,165 points. The donations collected by the boys were delivered to the North Hills Community Outreach, Inc. (NHCO) in Allison Park. A thank you note from Cindy G., Director of Food & Emergency Services at NHCO, will be on the display table at the May pack meeting.
