This is a 5 point Mule Deer Buck that I took in Central Oregon
During the 1995 General Season >
This was our 97 Deer hunt in the same Central Oregon Unit. We hunt
an area where during the Deer season there is no motorized vehicles allowed
accept on the main roads. We use this cart we refer to as a rickshaw to
haul out our deer. We have had to take them out as far at 2.5 miles.>
This is how my 1998 Central Oregon Mule Deer Hunt Went. Second day
of the season, snowing hard, then it cleared off and got up to 68 degrees
by noon. >
Here is Van with the Trophy 4 point he took on Monday Morning. In the Western States we only count the points on one side of the rack. In the Eastern States this would be an 8 point. He is having this head mounted. This is a typical mature Mule Deer Buck. Even and symetrical rack. It weighed about 225 lbs field dressed. >
