Russell Dowse (Sabre) is the current troop scouter. He is a computer network fundi for Standard Bank. Russell has two son's, Jonathan and Michael, in the troop. Sabre was a Springbok Scout.

Rodney Willoughby (Griffin) is the other Assistant Troop Scouter. He was a Cub and Scout in the 22nd YMCA Sea Scout Troop in Pretoria. His eldest son, Sean is a scout and younger son, Ryan is a Cub. His wife Noleen is an Assistant Pack Scouter, all at Bush Hill. When not involved in Scouting Rodney is an accountant and Noleen a pharmacist. e-mail
Simon Lamprey (Panther) is the newest assistant troop scouter. He has a son in the troop and another in the pack.

Walter (Buff) has previously been involved with other scout troops. He is the lastest troop assistant. e-mail
Edward Stevenson (Stevo) has been involved with the troop since the founding days in 1983. Stevo was the troop scouter for a short time during the mid 1980's. Above is a very rare photo of him in uniform.

Richard Robinson (Kudu) was a visisting assistant troop scouter. Kudu originated from Liverpool and is currently completing his studies in quantity surveying at Leeds. The troop thanks him for all his assistance and hope that he has the greatest success in the completion of his studies.
Craig Wood (Caracal) was an assistant troop scouter from ?? to the end of 2000 when he left to pursue a career oversea's. He is still a webmaster for this page.
He was a Bush Hill cub from 1981 to 1985 and a scout at Bush Hill from
1985 to 1991. Craig is a mechanical engineer.
