YET MORE COMMON POINTS

Yet another Marshall point...need I say more?...
This is a marcos point, which is very similar to a marshall type. Marcos have straighter blade edges, more like a pyramid, and expanded stem. Many of this type have long barbs, and a needle sharp tip. Late Archaic to Woodland.
Hardin points are very collectable and have been reproduced alot over the years. This one is classic form, notice how the barbs and base edges flow outwards.
This is a nice little Lange, they are a expanded stem point with tapered shoulders, and a straight to convex base. Mid Archaic to Woodland
Tablerock points are a medium to large size stemmed point with straight to tapered shoulders, these are also known as "bottleneck" points. Late Archaic.
Martindale's are a medium sized corner notched point. Their outstanding feature is the base, which is like two curves meeting at the center. This one is a tremendous example. Early Archaic.
Montell's most prominent feature is their deep notch in the center of the base and they have squared basal lobes. Very common point in Texas, and parts of Oklahoma. Mid Archaic to late Woodland.
This is a Reed point and it sure is a beaut!! They are small triangular side notched points with a straight base. Woodland to Mississippian.
