Songbird Slough Directions

Directions supplied are from selected points North, South, East or West of the venue.

• North(Arlington Heights area)

1. Get onto IL-83(South)
   • - Note that IL-83 will also be named:
     • - Main St
     • - Elmhurst Rd
     • - Lincoln St
     • - Oakton St
2. Continue on IL-83(South) until you reach Thorndale Ave(approx. 8 miles)
3. Turn right onto Thorndale Ave(West) and go about 2 miles
4. Turn left onto Prospect Ave(South) and proceed 1.2 miles
5. Turn right onto IL-19(Irving Park Road) (West) and stay on for 3 blocks
6. Take a left onto Parkside Ave/Mill Road(South) and continue on for about 6 blocks
7. Turn right into the Songbird Entrance(4 way stop sign) (West) and follow the road to the main parking area(about 1 mile)
   • - Total distance is about 12 miles

• South(Darien area)

1. Start out by going west on 75th St
2. Take the I-355(N) (North South Tollway) entrance ramp
3. Continue on I-355(N) (North South Tollway) for about 16 miles
4. Take the US-20/Lake St(East) exit(mile marker 31.5)
5. Turn right onto US-20/Lake St(East) and watch for IL-53(Rohlwing Rd)
6. Take a left onto IL-53(Rohlwing Rd) (North)and continue on for about 6 blocks
7. Turn right onto Bloomingdale Road(North East) and stay on for approx. 1.3 miles
8. Bloomingdale Road will 'blend' into IL-19/Irving Park Road, take a slight right to be on IL-19(East)
9. Continue on IL-19(East) for about 4 blocks until you see Parkside Ave/Mill Rd(on your right)
   • - If you reach Prospect Ave, you have gone too far east
10. Take a right onto Parkside Ave/Mill Rd(South) and continue on for about 6 blocks
11. Turn right into the Songbird Entrance(4 way stop sign) (West) and follow the road to the main parking area(about 1 mile)
    • - Total distance is about 21 miles

• East(Chicago area)

1. Get onto the Kennedy Expressway/I-90(West)
2. Continue on the Kennedy/I-90(West) to exit #78 I-190(W)/I-294(S)
3. Take the I-190(W) (O'HARE)/I-294(S) (Indiana) exit
4. Merge onto I-190(west) and look for the I-294(South) exit ramp
   • - The ramp will be on the left
5. Take the I-294(South) exit(# 1D)
6. Continue on I-294(South) (Indiana) for approx 1.5 miles
7. Take the IL-19/Irving Park Road exit(West)
   • - There will be a 40 cent toll at the Irving Park Plaza
8. Stay on IL-19/Irving Park Road(West) for about 7 miles
9. Take a left onto Parkside Ave/Mill Road(South) and continue on for about 6 blocks
10. Turn right into the Songbird Entrance(4 way stop sign) (West) and follow the road to the main parking area(about 1 mile)
    • - Total distance is about 19 miles

• West(Saint Charles area)

1. Start out by going East on IL-64/Main St/North Ave until you reach the I-355(N)/North South Tollway(about 11 miles)
2. Take the I-355(N) (North South Tollway) entrance ramp
3. Continue on I-355(N) (North South Tollway) for about 3 miles
4. Take the US-20/Lake St(East) exit(mile marker 31.5)
5. Turn right onto US-20/Lake St(East) and watch for IL-53(Rohlwing Rd)
6. Take a left onto IL-53(Rohlwing Rd) (North)and continue on for about 6 blocks
7. Turn right onto Bloomingdale Road(North East) and stay on for approx. 1.3 miles
8. Bloomingdale Road will 'blend' into IL-19/Irving Park Road, take a slight right to be on IL-19(East)
9. Continue on IL-19(East) for about 4 blocks until you see Parkside Ave/Mill Rd(on your right)
   • - If you reach Prospect Ave, you have gone too far east
10. Take a right onto Parkside Ave/Mill Rd(South) and continue on for about 6 blocks
11. Turn right into the Songbird Entrance(4 way stop sign) (West) and follow the road to the main parking area(about 1 mile)
    • - Total distance is about 18 miles
