During the Fall season of 1997 a team of nine climbers will be attempting to climb Putha Hiunchuli. This peak is 7246 meters (23,900')high, and is located in the western edge of the Dhaulagiri range in Western Nepal.

The mountain was first climbed by Jimmy Roberts in 1954. Since then 17 people has stood on it's summit. We hope to increase that number, and to put the first Canadian on top.
