- here be lemon folks!
Ash stared at the feast spread out before him. He never saw this much food, not for him to eat at least. He ate slowly, aware that his body would rebel if he gave it too much food too quickly after not having enough for so long. He glanced up at Rilien only to see that the prince was watching him as he ate. He blushed slightly before moving on impulse to crawl over and settle himself in Rilien's lap, pulling the tray with him. He wormed around a bit to get comfortable, his blush increasing tenfold when he realized the effect his squirming was having on Rilien.
"You sure ya want ta be sitting there?" Rilien chuckled. Ash nodded, relaxing back into Rilien.
"I trust you," he told the prince, snuggling into the arms that wrapped around him as he continued to eat his breakfast. A bit of jam dropped off the toast and onto Rilien's arm and without so much as a thought Ash bent to lick it up, turning a new shade of red when he realized what he was doing.
"You're going to go through every shade of red in the book by tonight at thins rate," Rilien commented, noticing nevertheless that Ash didn't stop licking till he had cleaned up all the jam.
"That's…a bit kinky, you know," Rilien warned Ash. The other boy merely blushed yet again and nodded slightly. "Aww, hell." Rilien wrapped his arms tighter around Ash and turned the boy towards him to kiss him hungrily. Ash hesitated for a moment before returning the kiss with an equal intensity. He had eaten; now his body was craving a somewhat different kind of sustenance. He shuddered a bit at the thought. He wasn't used to these feelings, wasn't used to wanting to be taken. But Rilien was so handsome…and at the moment pressed flush against him. Suddenly Rilien pulled back, leaving Ash gasping. He looked at Rilien in consternation.
"Goddess," Rilien gasped, his hands shifting slightly where they were buried in Ash's hair. His blue eyes, still slightly glazed from the kiss, looked seriously down at Ash. "Ash, love, I don't want to move too fast for you. Am I…" He trailed off as Ash shook his head emphatically. "Promise you'll stop me if I go too far," he whispered, breathing kisses over Ash's face.
"I-I don't want you to stop." Ash whispered, pulling Rilien in to initiate another kiss. Rilien pulled back, confused.
"You don't want me to…Ash, do you know what you're saying?"
Ash nodded. "I know exactly what I'm saying. I want you…I-I trust you. Goddammit," his tongue took a swipe at Rilien's collarbone. "I think…no, I know I love you. I'm just as hormonal as you are my prince. Just a little more…scared."
"No," Rilien corrected. "I'm scared. I'm bloody terrified I'll hurt you and that you'll leave. I know I lead a somewhat…spoiled life, but I don't think I could survive that."
"I won't leave you," Ash assured him, curling tighter into his arms. "Not by my own will."
"I won't let you go," Rilien whispered, a somewhat wild glint in his eyes as he shoved the empty tray off the bed and slowly lay Ash out on it, settling himself atop the smaller boy. He sighed as those delicate hands caressed his back, running along the lines of his shoulder blades. Yet again he let himself study Ash, now sprawled submissively beneath him, his silvery hair spread out over half the bed. "So beautiful." He breathed. "So bloody beautiful." His hand came up to stroke Ash's face and he smiled as Ash leaned into the touch. For the second time he let his hand begin to trail down that pale body following the trail with his lips.
"Not letting you go." He whispered between kisses down Ash's neck. "Never." Kiss. "Not today." Kiss. "Not tomorrow." Kiss. "Not next week." Kiss. "Never." That final declaration was emphasized by the swipe of his tongue over a pale pink nipple.
"That's becoming a bit of a preoccupation." Ash gasped out, arcing into the touch. He could feel Rilien's grin against his chest.
"Think I care?" Rilien mumbled, brushing his hand lightly over Ash's stomach so that the muscles there jumped. He sighed. "Sensitive."
"Yesss." Ash agreed, shifting his hips slightly. "Damnit, Rilien." He could have sworn the prince smirked up at him.
"No, I want this to last." He slid back up to capture Ash's mouth under his own, invading it, conquering. His hand slipped down the pale body to tease Ash's arousal, making him gasp and break the kiss momentarily. A brief, gnawing worry that he should be returning some of the pleasure flashed through Ash's mind, but was pushed away by another arc of fire moving up from between his legs.
"Rilien!"
"Mmmn." The prince looked up from where he was crouching, his mouth still full of Ash's length. He let it slid out of his mouth and Ash whimpered at the loss.
"You taste so good, love," Rilien purred, brushing his lips against Ash's. "But truly, I want to make the first time last."
"What about you?" Ash whispered, trailing his hands down Rilien's back.
"It will get taken care of." Rilien stood up.
"Rilien?"
"I'll be right back, love." And he was. He disappeared back into the bathroom for all of three seconds before he returned to the bed carrying a small bottle. He set it on the table beside the bed before lying back down next to Ash, kissing him slowly.
"What…?"
"Something I had an ambassador bring back from his travels." Rilien chuckled a bit. "He had no idea what I was intending to use it for of course." Ash giggled slightly at the mental image of some prudish ambassador discovering what his gift was being used for. The giggles turned to as gasp as Rilien's mouth covered his and one oil coated finger slid into his hidden entrance, then two, stretching, probing till suddenly Ash arched off the bed.
"Ooooh! There…" His voice trailed off into a moan. It had never felt this good…then again, he had never been taken by someone so hell bent on pleasing him, or pleasing him at all for that matter. "Now, Rilien. Please…"
"Patience, love." Rilien murmured, kissing a line along Ash's jaw. "I don't want to hurt you."
"Rilien…" Another gasp escaped him as first one nipple and then the other was drawn into the prince's hot mouth. Then a moan of loss as the fingers and mouth were both removed. Rilien sat up to reach for the bottle, but Ash got it first.
"Let me."
Rilien nodded. He was not going to be able to deny this angel anything…not that it mattered. His train of thought broke as Ash's warm hand closed over his erection.
"Ash…"
Ash smiled. He liked how his name sounded like that. What other sounds could he…
"Oh, gods! Ash…" Rilien had to force himself to open his eyes and pull away from Ash's hands. He stroked his own hand over that slightly disappointed look. "That was wonderful, love. But I did have other plans."
Ash sighed and lay back on the bed, watching the flames in Rilien's eyes jump into near bonfires.
"Like this?"
Rilien nodded. "I want to see your eyes." He kissed Ash sweetly. "You have beautiful eyes."
"Thank you."
"Not that every inch of you isn't beautiful." Rilien murmured, moving subtly to position himself between Ash's long legs. "You ready, love? You're sure you want this?"
"More than anything." He lifted his hips to meet Rilien's as the prince gently pushed in; still, he couldn't suppress a small cry of pain, thankful the prince stopped till all the discomfort drained from his eyes. "Now, my prince."
It was all Rilien could do not to pound into the heat surrounding him. The still conscious part of his mind reminded him he didn't want to hurt Ash, and that was what would happen if he took it (him) too fast. The way Ash was moving against him wasn't helping much either.
"Rilien, please!" Ash gasped. He may have been almost used to it, but the smirk that crossed Rilien's face scared him slightly…it a somewhat good way. The prince pulled back till he was barely inside Ash, then slid forward again, slow and gentle, leaving Ash moaning nonetheless. Slowly he worked up the pace, his thrusts growing faster and harder each time till he was sure only Ash's head and heels were touching the bed at all, they might as well have been flying.
'So hot so fucking hot not gonna be able to hold off…'
"Ash!" This last was gasped as the silver haired boy beneath him dragged Rilien down into a kiss, causing his sex to be caressed between their flat stomachs.
"Ah! Ash…" Rilien gasped, thrusting feverishly into the boy. "Ash I…"
Ash nodded once then arched back still further when Rilien reached between them to caress him.
"Rilien!" Warm, sticky wetness flowed over Rilien's hand and Ash's stomach as the muscles is his ass tightened almost to the point of pain, sending Rilien over the edge as well, making him see stars. Rilien collapsed, barely remembering to push slightly to the side so he wouldn't crush Ash. Hearing the slight whimper from Ash as he withdrew. He reached out and drew his lover into his arms snuggling his nose into Ash's messy hair.
Ash squirmed slightly to get closer to Rilien once he had to energy to. He sighed, nuzzling his prince's collarbone. He was messy, and sticky, and sated, and…well above all he was happy. Nothing had ever felt that good before in his whole life. He smiled up at Rilien, as the prince's now hazy blue eyes blinked open.
"Wow." The prince breathed. Ash giggled slightly.
"Down for the count." He said cheerfully. Then smiled as his hand trailed down Rilien's body. "Or maybe not."
"You recover quickly." Rilien muttered. His face was far from grumpy though, as he pulled Ash too him for another kiss. "You're amazing," he whispered. "And beautiful and smart and I love you."
Ash smiled contentedly. "I love you too." He curled back against Rilien, wrinkling his nose slightly. "We need another bath."
Rilien chuckled. "You actually remember the first one?"
"Before I fell asleep."
"Do I get to wash your hair again?" Rilien asked with a grin, Ash looked somewhat hesitantly up at him.
"Could you brush it too? It's going to be an awful mess."
"Anything."
"Hhmmmnn." It was just a series of random syllables, but it managed to hold all the comfort, the security Ash was feeling. Rilien kissed the top of his head.
"As soon as I get my legs back we'll take a bath." He chuckled.
"How 'bout after we take a nap." Ash mumbled sleepily, curling around so he could use Rilien's chest as a pillow.
"Alright." Within minutes both of them were fast asleep.
"Rilien," Ash murmured as the prince sat behind him, patiently brushing the tangles out of the long silver hair. "What are you going to tell your father? And when?"
"Oh shit!" The brush stalled, then started again. "Truly, Ash, I don't know. Someday he's in a good mood. Why?"
"I want to know how long I have to live."
"Ash!" Rilien swept Ash into his arms yet again. "I told you, baby, I keep telling you. I'm not letting anything happen to you."
"Your father's the king."
"The fifty year old king. And I'm the crown prince, who do you think is more important?"
Ash thought long and hard. "You. I guess. But Rilien…"
"We…I may just have to spring it on him Ash. He needs me; he can't have another son. As for you…maybe we'll just have to get those thief friends of yours in to back me up while I protect you."
"You'd loose half the palace."
"What, the people?"
"No," Ash laughed. "The palace. The thing its self. Cleo and Reina can get a bit compulsive."
"Ah."
Ash sighed, snuggling back into Rilien's arms. Cleo and Reina…
"Reina's in love with Cleo." He said quietly. He found his own happiness, his prince; he wanted to share it.
"Hmm?"
"Reina, the slightly more serious one…though I kinda think that's a façade…she's in love with the other, Cleo. I don't know if Cleo knows, I think not."
"I see."
"Mmmm." Ash turned, nuzzling against Rilien. "I wanna help them out…eventually at least."
"Anything you like."
"Anything?"
Rilien nodded.
"I'm kinda hungry…"
Rilien laughed and proceeded to ring for Blain.
It was nearly a week after that first blissful night, and Rilien was pacing his bedroom nervously while Ash sat on the bed, watching him.
"Rilien," he murmured. "We don't have to…"
"It needs to get done," Rilien interrupted. "I-I'm just-"
"Scared?" Ash offered. "Nervous? Tense?"
"Yeah, something like that." He sighed, and sat on the bed next to Ash. "You know I won't let anything happen to you though, right?"
Ash smiled. "I know." He turned Rilien away from him and began massaging the prince's shoulders. Rilien had managed to get rid of almost every single one of Ash's fears and bad memories in the past week, at least pushing them back enough so that it was just like some sort of faded dream. Thus Ash was somewhat more stable now, able to return comfort when it was needed.
Rilien turned around and pulled Ash into his arms, kissing him soundly. Ash jumped away, however, when there was a knock at the door. Rilien shoved the somewhat hurt look of his face and went to get it.
"The king is ready to see you." A fully overdressed messenger informed the two boys. Rilien nodded, holding out a hand to Ash. This messenger had been running back and forth the whole week and knew full well what was going on. But he had been paid enough to keep even his mouth shut, merely leading them silently into the throne room.
Rilien had sweet-talked a tailor into making Ash a whole new wardrobe and keeping his mouth shut in the bargain. Ash had winced at the price the man ended up getting, but it had been worth it. Ash was dressed in white pants, and a silvery, light purple tunic that was belted at the waist. His hair was pulled back in a braid, but the braid its self was ornamented with small jewels. Jewels that matched the pearl and amethyst drops in his ears and the small amethyst lily that hung round his neck on a black thread. Then there was the slim gold ring that graced his left hand, and that was what most of the people were commenting on.
Rilien was wearing gold embroidered dark blue. A similar outfit to Ash's but that his only jewelry was the gold circlet on his head, and the ring he wore to match Ash's. He stepped forward when his father nodded at him to speak, only realizing his son was there after a courtier had whispered in his ear. Rilien went and stood before his father's throne, motioning for Ash to join him.
"Father," he began, somewhat formally. "I have found the person I want to marry."
"You have, have you?" The king mocked. "And who is it pray tell."
"Ashril Syrnor."
Ash bowed. The king looked vaguely puzzled.
"Syrnor…I didn't know Edward Syrnor had a daughter before he died."
"He…" Ash was about to correct him when a courtier stepped up to his ear.
"I would not advise that." The courtier murmured. "He'll never be able to tell. He sees what he wants to see, hears what he wants to hear and only that."
Ash nodded, grateful, then turned to a smiling Rilien. "He did, your majesty," he told the king. Then turned to accuse his love… "You knew, didn't you?" Rilien shook his head, smiling.
"It will certainly make things easier."
"But…but what about the rest of the court?"
"They're not as closed minded as you think. As long as their political purpose gets served they don't care." The two turned back to the king.
"Edward was a good man." The king said. "Even if he lost all his fortune before he died. My blessings, numbskull, you may have finally made a decent choice."
"Thank you father." Rilien was positively beaming. Then the king beckoned to Ash.
"Come here, girl."
Ash looked helplessly at Rilien who merely shrugged and mouthed 'nothing bad will happen to you.' Ash shuddered slightly.
"Don't be afraid, girl."
Rilien reached out to give Ash's hand a light squeeze before the silver-haired boy went up and stood before the king. The king beckoned him to lean down and Ash followed orders, kneeling at the king's feet.
"I can't see much." The king told him. "But you are beautiful. Has my son bedded you yet?" Ash blushed. "Well?"
"Yes, your majesty." For some odd reason he liked the king, as much as the man terrified him.
"Good." The king laughed. "I expect a grandson then."
"Yes, your majesty." Ash couldn't think of anything else to say. The king patted him kindly on the shoulder and kissed his cheek.
"Good girl. I like you. You probably deserve better than my idiot son." The king smiled and waved him away. He almost flew back to Rilien.
"You may go." The king told them, and they began to leave, till they noticed the courtier who had talked to Ash was following them. Once they had exited the room they turned to him.
"How do you propose to deal with the business of an heir?" He inquired. Rilien blushed slightly.
"Actually, we're lucky. My little sister's pregnant with her second just now. She promised it to me."
Ash turned to Rilien in consternation. "And when did you arrange this?" He wasn't angry. Just, curious.
"Her marriage actually. She knew about me, and so we worked out this arrangement. The timing's merely a lucky fluke."
"Ah." The courtier began to walk away. "Good luck, your highness."
Back in Rilien's rooms Ash collapsed into the prince's arms.
"There now," Rilien murmured, setting them down on the bed. "It went comparatively well."
Ash nodded. "I'm still worried about other reactions though."
Rilien smiled. "Don't worry…besides, my sister will love you, I'm sure."
Ash smiled up at the prince. "So... we're actually getting married?" Rilien nodded
and in a matter of milliseconds found Ash plastered to his lips. "I love you!"
"I would never have guessed."
"When?"
"In a few months I should think." Rilien murmured, his forehead resting against Ash's. "The baby'll seem early, but father probably already thinks I've gotten you pregnant, so it's not a huge problem. My sister will be at the wedding, so we'll know then."
"You're perfect," Ash sighed, snuggling closer to the prince.
"I doubt that." He tilted Ash's face up to kiss him.
"Mmmm…Rilien, about Cleo and Reina…"
