In many points, this 2nd album's current of KITARO Music is close to the debut album's (see album guide of "TEN KAI" ASTRAL TRIP). If you like "TEN KAI" ASTRAL TRIP, you are going to like this album. If you like this album, you are going to like "TEN KAI" ASTRAL TRIP. Musically this is the world of "I do everything what I want to do!!" (again). With closing your eyes, you can "trip" with this album (laughs). As same as last (1st) album, this album's music is far far from pop feeling. Mostly spiritual improvisations. But this album's melodies are slightly more impressive than the melodies in "TEN KAI" ASTRAL TRIP. But these melodies are still LESS impressive in KITARO-san's whole discography. But you must know that this album's charming point is the "vision" (as same as last album), not melody. Like last album, music's dynamism (born from delicate and "one and only" ensemble) is giving dazzling colourful contrast to the sound.

To say fine details, this album is slightly weaker than "TEN KAI" ASTRAL TRIP (but stronger album in KITARO-san's whole discography). But it is interesting that this album has some musical elements which is never heard on "TEN KAI" ASTRAL TRIP. Also interesting is that this album contains the song "AURORA" which has simple and beautiful melody. This was the very first time in KITARO-san's career that the ballad which has (and based on) simple beautiful melody appeared in his album. Later this kind of ballad became one of KITARO-san's typical style, while "AURORA" is yet "prototype". The point where the current song is moving into the next song (i.e. between the songs) became clearer than "TEN KAI" ASTRAL TRIP, and as a result, this album became the first album to have "KITARO-san's typical flow represented through an album" (this typical flow is represented in many later albums).

Having these aspects, this album is another important album in KITARO-san's whole career. Just like "TEN KAI" ASTRAL TRIP, if you become a KITARO Music fan, you must listen to this album before late. Not bad to listen to this album first if you want stimulative music.
