Tamahome
Tamahome is a brave young man who fights with his own fists,
and later learns to fire chi (energy) at his enemies... Namely, Nakago.
His initial main love was money. But his reason is a very sweet one...
His father was very ill and hence was bed-ridden. His mother had died after giving birth to Tamahome's youngest sibling- Yuiren. Because of this, Tamahome grew up independently. He actually pretty much brought his siblings up single-handedly, and loves them very much. The fact that they were poor forced Tamahome to work in order to make money for the survival of his relatively large family, and whatever little money, he could get his hands on, he saved it and gave it to his family.
Unfortunately, courtesy of Suboshi and Nakago, Tamahome lost his entire family, but he learns that there still one more thing much more important to him than money...-- Miaka. And he will do anything to protect Miaka from any harm.
