Comic Calendar 2001

So cute =^^= Every year, GanGan releases Comic Calendars for some of their more popular titles. I saw Mamotte Shugogetten and the Star Ocean calendars, but I didn't see any others, although I'm sure they had some for Saiyuki, Twin Signal, etc. These comic calendars are cute, hardcover booklets, with a nice stand, and a small sheet of cute, little stickers =^^=
Here's something definitely hard to find. It's from the Enix Comic Fair II, one of the random pins they hand out at the door. And you don't know which one you get until you open the package, either. Mayumi Azuma illustration! But this IS a rarity =><= I think the chances of getting this particular pin may be 1/100. The most common pins are from Saiyuki, since there's a pin for each of the 4 guys.
Suge~ Here's the cast of the game, as shown in the manual. From left to right: Dias, Celine, Leon, Crawd, Ashton, Rena, Noel, Bowman, Opera, Ernest, Precis, and Chisato. So many characters, you have to play many times, to get them all, and complete the voice collection =><= Hell, I'm happy with Crawd, Rena, Celine, Dias, Ashton, and Precis =^^= Minato Koio is the character designer, and she has an interesting style. Everyone has such small feet and long arms... Not to mention strange postures =^^=
I had to include this picture from the manual =^^= It's from the section about Special Attacks, showing Crawd's "Kuuhazan" attack. Many don't realize there's a counter counting every time you use each of the attacks, and certain spells in battle, and the reason for that is that the more times you use them, the stronger they become and they change in look and style. For example, after using Kuuhazan 100 times, it gets bigger. At 200, I think it turns orange. At 250, a glowing blue shadow follows Crawd's motion. But you have to be careful doing certain techniques, 'cuz sometimes you can actually injure your own ally.
It's not Star Ocean, but it is Mayumi Azuma. Well, this is Vampire Saviour (aka Dark Stalkers... I think) Like Star Ocean, this is very well done (why not? She even uses the same assistants) But I don't know much about the series, and because of that, it kinda disappointed me that it was nothing more than battle after battle, without ever mentioning how each battle started... Anyhow, it's because of Azuma that I've gotten a little interested in the storyline.
Vol.4 of Vampire Saviour ~Soul of A Lost Child~ in which Morigan fights against Lilith in a survival battle... I found the image, liked it, then included it =^^=
