- Welcome to the School of Worship webiste, the
current school has been such a blessing to those
who have been envolved. They are currently half
way through the school with already life changing
topics being spoken to the students. The next
school starts on the 7th June 2004, with the
vision being on REACHING
THE WORLD TO HAVE INTIMACY WITH GOD, THROUGH
BIBLICAL BASED MULTI-CULTURAL MUSIC AND WORSHIP
FROM THE NATIONS TO THE NATIONS.
- This is based on these scriptures:
Psalm 95:5 and Revelation 7:9-12.

- Nicholas Oddoye (the pioneer of YWAM Ghana's SOW)
has had a vision to begin a School of Worship for
almost 20 years. His dream has become a reality
now. On April 7th,2003 Youth With A Mission Ghana
began it's first SOW.
- This School teaches the students in: Worship as a
Lifestyle, Passion for Worship, Effective Song
Writing, Introduction to Ethnomusicology,
character building and the gifts of the Spirit,
Leadership, Team and Skill Development, Worship
as regards to Intercession, & Spiritual
Warfare, Introduction to Music Theory and
Recording Production, The Biblical and Historical
basis for Worship, Dance, Creativity and
Musicianship.
- To fund this school and further endeavors we are
beginning a recording and video project using the
indigenous music and dance of the students. This
compilation includes music from Chad, different
parts of Ghana and African American gospel music.
We are in the process of recording the CD and
working on creating a DVD, which will have scenes
of live African performances of drumming, dance
and many different styles of music.
The School of Worship disciples worshippers to be
trained and skilled in music for the Lord (1 Chron
25:1-7). The main goal of the course is to equip
musicians to lead the Body of Christ in culturally
relevant expressions of worship, and to disciple the
hearts of worshippers in places where there is no
Christian witness. The final goal of evangelism is to see
all nations worshipping God (Psalm 86:9). Music is a
powerful tool to accomplish that end. The training and
discipling accomplished in the lecture phase is put into
action in a field assignment, where opportunity is given
both to lead worship and to help others to lead also. The
Course gives us a picture of what is written in
Reverlation 7:9 from every nation, tribe, people and
language, standing before the throne and in front of the
Lord
