Youth With A Mission ~Ghana~

Youth With A Mission is dedicated to helping complete the Great Commission through three main areas: Evangelism, Training and Mercy Ministries. In Ghana, the objectives of our involvement include the following: reaching, raising and releasing Africans to reach the world. Enlightening, encouraging and challenging Africans to see themselves as Missionaries rather than the mission field. Planting churches in the least evangelized and neglected villages in Ghana. Bringing life and hope to the poor through our Relief & Development programme. Training and equipping leaders and workers for church ministries. Building bridges and promoting unity among Christian leaders and churches. Raising up a God-knowing and God-fearing Youth to influence tomorrows world.
YWAM Ghana was founded by Faithful and Mary Biney in 1984 after working on board the M/V Anastasis (a Missionary Medical Evangelisitc & Relief Ship) for 4 1/2 years. While on board Faithful worked as a Marine Engineer while Mary worked in many departments.
Their vision is to transform the church into a missionary minded Church, to help break the mentality that Africans have of themselves as the Mission Field, and for the African Christians to see them selves as Missionaries to the world. To challenge them to take responsiblity of misions including every People Group, Nation and Race.
They have just recently founded a Christian Education School named Fountain Head Christian School,
