Chui fits in a niche between the other big
cats in many ways, such as size, speed and habitat .The leopard is a
nocturnal hunter that silently stalks it prey up close and catches its
startled victims. As a bigger cat than Duma, it can fend off other
predators,but is still no match against the formidable Simbas and must store
its feed on tree branches beyond the reach of less dexterous competitors. It
doesn't have the speed of a cheetah and lacks the companionship of a pride
of Simbas but uses this to its advantage as it doesn't have to compete with
its kin and is not tied down to one particular hunting ground.It has
developed sharper hunting instincts and skills as a result of being solitary
and has a higher success rate of catching prey than its rivals.
