	The demon of lies who was, in medieval theology, considered to be either one of the order of Virtues or one of the order Angels (ninth order). He is described as being a beautiful angel with a beautiful but deceptive voice, and he was seated upon a chariot drawn by fire-belching dragons. After being expelled from heaven, he became a king of hell. He could be summoned through means of sacrifices, and once one gained his friendship, Belial would give him favors and familiars.
