	Evil spirit of Hindu folklore that was said to be the ghost of a woman who died while pregnant during the Dewali festival. The Churel have vile appearances, possessing pendant breasts, thick ugly lips, black tongues, and unkempt hair. They prey on young men, keeping them captive and slowly draining their life forces until they are withered old men.
