After a thrilling flight to Skardu over the lof
ty mountains, this magnificent jeep adventure takes us to the remote
picturesque valleys of Shigar, Khapulo and Hushe across the length of Baltistan.
We will enjoy day hikes in the serene villages to enjoy the splendours of nature
and observe the daily life of friendly Baltis. Traversing over Deosai Plateau is
a life time experience. We will drive from Skardu Gilgit via Deosai and the
beautiful Rama Lake in the historic Astore Valley. Driving on the Karakorum
Highway, we will go to the legendry Hunza Valley and explore Khunjerab Pass on
Pak-China border. Returning back to Gilgit, we
will drive westward passing lush green villages,
serene lakes, rugged mountain thundering rivers and high passes of Hindukush. We
will stop at Gopis, Phander Lake and Mastuj before reaching Chitral. Visit the
millennium old pagan tribes in Kalash valleys and drive over Lowari Pass to
Swat. After a day trip to Kalam in upper Swat Valley, we will drive to the
historic city of Peshawar. On the way visit Bhuddist remains at Takht Bahi. In
Peshawar a day excursion to the Khyber Pass to see the life and customs of
Pathan tribes. At the end visit the centre of Gandhara Civilization at Taxila
before reaching Rawalpindi for home bond flight.
