Wow... When I said that it wouldn't take me a year to update again, I certainly didn't think that the promise would end up being true only by way of actually taking two years to update. **sigh** The redesign that I had originally planned to be like a glorious rising from the ashes of the old site has instead turned into a long-delayed slow crawl out of the grave without very much change. Either way, at least it has finally begun. I've overhauled the Library. I moved the Garg Libs, which had previously had their own page, into the Interactive section of the Library. I added the first chapter of "The Adventures of James Norrington, Pirate," the first two chapters of "Breaking Fast," the first chapter of "Cool Beans," "Legend: Segue," and the first chapter of "One Large Banana" to the Fan Fiction Section, as well as "Cleanliness, Spotlessness" and "Jack Sparrow's Black Pearl" to the Filk Song Section. I also consolidated the "In Her Wake" round robin story into three parts and added the chunk of it that I had mentioned way back in the July 15, 2001 update. At one time there was actually another part after this last one that also needed to be added, but it was hand written in a notebook that I haven't been able to find for the past three years, so I'm giving it up for lost. Because it's been years since I last heard from the other round robin participants, I have to sadly declare the story dead. It was fun while it lasted. Someday I might go back and write a real ending for it, but that's unlikely to happen in the near future. ![]() Argh! Yes, I know it's been almost a year since I last updated. I had originally been holding off on doing any updates until I unveiled my new design for the site, but then I realized just how truly hideous the new design was and junked the whole thing. I'm still trying to come up with a new design that I'm satisfied with, but I realized that I needed to at least do something between now and the new design, which will be unveiled at some unknown point in the future, so I dredged through my hard drive and found the pictures that have been waiting since last summer to be posted to the Gallery. I added 1 to the Pimpernel section, 1 to the Clan LA section, 1 to the For Others section, and 3 to the Misc. section. Yes, there's still more stuff than needs to be done, but I'm not going to do it tonight. No, it will not take me another year to get to it. ![]() Ack! Have I really not updated since March?!? Since my last update, the SP tour has ended, and my sophomore year has ended. Heck, at this point my summer has almost ended, too! I hope everyone had a nice 4th of July (mine was dull, didn't even get to see fireworks) and Bastille Day (mine was great, got to see the Rocky Horror Show on Broadway). Anyway, in honor of Bastille Day, I have added another picture to the Humor section of Chauvelin's Scaffold. Who says that I'm never nice to little ChauChau? :) I would have actually added this on Bastille Day, but I was in New York watching Tom Hewitt dance around in a corset. I would have added other stuff too, but my latest scanned drawings are all on a different computer, which is currently about 400 miles away. The pic of Angry Enjolras would have made a nice addition for the Bastille Day update, as would my most recent drawing of Chauvelin. I'm not doing other things like the round robin story or the links, both of which desperately need updating, out of sheer lazyness. I hope to have the rr Story updated within the week, but I have no idea when I'll get around to the links. ![]() I'm back from spring break. (**sniffle**) It's now two weeks and counting until the final show of the SP tour. (**sniffle** again) I added the beginning of part Six of the round robin story in the Library. On and on it goes; where it stops, nobody knows. :) I got rid of the link to the official site for The Wild Party since it doesn't seem to have been updated since before the show closed back in summer of 2000. There are a bunch of new links I plan to add soon, but I'm too lazy to do it tonight. I also moved the January and February updates to the Old Updates page. ![]() I added the beginning of part Five of the round robin story in the Library. I don't have any other additions to report at the moment, but I do want to say that if you happen to live in Southern California you should go see Much Ado About Nothing at the South Coast Repertory! It's lots of fun and the cast is great, especially the one and only Mr. Douglas Sills. :) ![]() I added the beginning of part Four of the round robin story in the Library. Other than that, there's nothing to report. ![]() There's yet another picture in the Humor section for Chauvelin's Scaffold. ![]() ![]() |
