The Mess!!!!
Here is a picture of the old setup. As you can see the center section of the cross member was removed and scrap was welded in place. The first step, obviously, is to remove the transmission!!
With the transmission removed, you can now remove the cross member.
REMEMBER!!! If you are going to retain the stock pedal assembly you need to
retain that portion of the cross member. An air powered cut off tool works
great for cutting the member in half. Remove everything to the right of
the master cylinder.
