Essential Oils

There are many different ways in which we could use essential oils. This includes in baths, inhalation, vaporization and massage.

Bathing with essential oils can relieve tension and stress. Three drops of each  lavender and sandalwood is one of the relaxing combination. The fragrance can bring relax mood to you!

You will need a large bowl to content half-full warm water for the method inhalation. Two drops of each eucalyptus and tea tree  could be used. Your head should be above the bowl with a towel covering your head. This helps to relieve colds, influenza or sinus problems. Contact lenses and glasses should be removed so that it will not affect the eyes. A simple inhalation is by taking one drop of the oils on a handkerchief, which promotes relaxation, or simply adding a few drops of the oil into steaming water, which could relieve congestion. Inhalation  also helps patients with headaches, anxiety and irritability.

Vaporization is the method used by warming the essential oils using a vaporizer. This is to allow diffusion of the pleasant aroma into the room. This method helps in trouble of breathing. If you want to remove bad smells, you can use three drops of each of tea tree and lemon on the vaporizer.

The most typical way of absorbing essential oils immediately into the skin is by a massage. It is thought to be the most effective method. Before you apply the oils, first, you need to dilute it in a carrier oil (vegetable oils) such as grapeseed, sweet almond or jojoba. If you are using 10 drops of essential oils, you should dilute it  in 20mL (4 teaspoons) of carrier oil and keep it in a clean glass bottle. Before use, you must always shake the bottle. You can use it to massage a full body, excluding the face. The essential oils can give internal effect that may be diuretic, anti-inflammatory, or antiviral.
