Make sure you have 500 rupees. Go east of Hyrule Castle and north of the East Palace area. Pass the magic shop and lift up the large green stone (you must have the Power Glove from the Desert Palace.) Go right a screen and dash the green piles to remove them. Go up past the green noodles until you see a waterfall. Go up through the shallow water water to the right of it and enter Zora's Fountain.
Keep in the shallows and try to avoid the zoras and their fireballs. Make your way around in a clockwise direction until you get to a waterfall in the north-east corner of Zora's Fountain. King Zora will appear and offer you the Flippers for 500 rupees. Now you will be able to swim in deep water. You can also swim into whirlpools which will teleport you to different places in Hyrule.
The waterfall to the left of the entrance to Zora's Fountain can now be entered. Swim through it and you will be in a cave with a fairy fountain in it. Throw in your boomerang and shield, to get a Magic Boomerang and Fire Shield in return.
Use the teleport south of the waterfall to reach Lake Hylia. The island in the midle has a Fairy Fountain inside. Keep throwing rupees in and you can get the amount of bombs and arrows you can carry raised. You will need many many rupees to reach the maximum 70 arrows and 50 bombs limit though.
To the east of Lake Hylia is a cracked wall. Bomb it and enter the icy cave to get the Ice Rod. |
