Stocking up rupees can take a while. A little cheat to get expensive items like the bow is to pick it up in the shop, run round and round the shop keeper until he is facing the wrong way and go out the door without paying for it. It's hard to pull off, but it saves time in the long run. Although if you go back in the shop, the shopkeeper will kill you, and hereafter your name will be thief. If you don't like this way of doing things, I suppose the next quickest way to get rupees is to keep playing the trendy game and win 30 rupees each time.
Get the shovel as soon as possible, you can dig up lots of good stuff with it.
There is never anything in those tall chests in houses.. Why? Don't ask me, I'm just a kid :)
Hitting the chickens with your sword too many times will send loads of chickens to attack you.
Since Yoshi (from the mario games) is in the game, I am assuming that the Windfish Egg is a giant Yoshi Egg, in dungeon side scrolling bits there are Mario goombas too. Also Dr Wright is from the SNES version of Sim City whilst his pen pal's picture shows Princess Toadstool from Super Mario World. Come to think of it.. BowWow the chain chomp is from the Mario games too.
If you put ZELDA when you register your name, you get a funky tune, pretty useless really...or is it?
To get the items flying in the air you need the Roc's Feather.
Although this game is called Zelda, Princess Zelda does not make an appearance. Link calls out her name at the start, and thats about it. Marin is the female lead for this game. |
