Ganon is the same thing as Ganondorf. Ganon is just the higher form of Ganondorf. As you should know every one hundred years a male Gerudo is born and Ganondorf being that one was no ordanary Thief. The Gerudos are not evil like Ganondorf they are thieves. They live in and gaurd the Gerudo Forteress in Hyrule. Ganondorf tricked the king of Hyrule and soon with the Triforce took over Hyrule. For 7 years there was the Imprisoning War in Which Ganondorf took over Hyrule. Link made his way to Ganon's Castle and defeated the Great Price of Evil himself. As he yelled, "I Ganondorf the great prince of evil betten by this kid." He used all of his strenth in destroying the castle and leaving Link only minutes to escape with Zelda. When the reached the bottom they thought it was over but Ganondorf had tranformed in to the great Ganon. Link battled Ganon hard and in the end he locked Ganon in the Dark World. Link became the Hero of Time and saved Hyrule.
