    The popular Final Fantasy characters are here equipped with scooters, go-karts and the like; with Chocobo, Mog, Chubby Chocobo, Black Magician, White Mage, Goblin, Golem and Behemoth all appearing in this game.  Each one has their own special abilities to make winning just that little bit easier.  There are a number of different modes to choose from for racing this game.  The Story Mode is rather babyish, but is a good way to get used to the tracks featured in this game; however the Time Attack mode can also be used for this purpose.  This game could have been made better by the inclusion of more tracks, and the option to choose how many laps per track to be performed; three laps per track - especially in Grand Prix mode - is just not enough, especially if you are trying to level up those Magic Stones.  All in all, this game is very similar to Super Mario Kart for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (the SNES), however that doesn't mean you should overlook this game.  Fun to play, and definately fun to watch the other racers spin out.
