Getting your characters' HP up to 9999

First of all, you need to be sure that you are junctioning the correct magic.  Most GFs when junctioned will not support HP-J.  They will have to learn it.  So don't just let your GFs learn abilities without you setting them.  To set the abilities, go to the main menu.  Select GF and select the GF you want to set abilities to be learnt for.  For example, select GF Quezacotl by pressing the X button and then from the abilities to be learnt menu, select HP-J by pressing the X button.  After gaining enough AP, this GF will learn the ability and you can now junction some magic to the HP Stat, which will increase it.  Good magic for the HP-J stat is any curative magic, especially Curaga, Regen and Full-Life spells.  Meteor, Ultima and Demi are also very good.  Get 100 of these spells, either by drawing from enemies or refining them from items which you mug, refine from cards, or receive after battles.  You can also use Auto Junctioning and select Def for Defense.  The magic junctioned will be such to favour a high HP stat.      Levelling up your characters is also very important.  Take the time in Disc 3 to head off to the Island Closest to Hell and Island Closest to Heaven and fight the extremely tough monsters there.  A quick way to level up on these islands while receiving minimal damage is to take Quistis with you and keep her on low HP (critical status).  Have her use her Degenerator Limit Break (have her learn it with a Black Hole, which you obtain by refining one Gesper card, or mug from a Gesper), and the enemy will be killed. Med Lv-Up Refine and Remedy+s

To get GF Doomtrain, you need 6 Remedy+s.  10 Remedies refine into 1 Remedy+.  Make sure you have 10 Remedies before refining.  Make sure that your Item list is not full (and there is no space for any other items to be added).  Or maybe you have 100 Remedy+s already?  Anyway, if this doesn't help... I'm sorry, I don't know what could be the problem.  As a last resort, try again when you have GF Alexander at Lv 100, but this refine works at levels lower than 100. This magazine is found in the Timber Maniacs building in Timber, as soon as you go in.  There are magazines on the floor, search them (press X) and eventually you will pick up 'Girl Next Door'.
