In a recent episode of 'The West Wing' the character portrayed by actor Alan Alda explains how he lost faith in a "god" who insists on the death penalty for anyone who works on the sabbath, and for anyone who commits adultery. He could have added that the "god" instructs fathers to stone their daughters to death for failing to bleed copiously on their wedding night, and stone their sons to death for drunken behaviour.

He could have mentioned that "god" insists on the death penalty for homosexuals, for witches, and for anyone who worships an alternative deity. He could have mentioned that the "god" instructs men to poison their wives as a fidelity test. He could have mentioned that "god" forced parents to eat their own children, gave men haemorrhoids, and then threatened to wipe excrement across the faces of anyone who disobeyed him.

"God has no problem with slavery though" continued Alan Alda, and he's right, the Biblical "god" encourages Jews to enslave gentiles, to trade slaves, to drill holes in them and to bequeath them to their children as an inheritance.

By the way, unless you are a Jew, you're a gentile.

So what kind of a diabolical, sadistic and disgusting god is it that Jews and Christians worship? They call him "merciful father", yet he was anything but merciful. Wrathful - yes. Spiteful - yes. Loathsome - yes. Demonic - yes.

Moses – the brute who fabricated Jehovah – referred to him as a "Man of War".

"I'm more of a New Testament man myself" responded the character played by Martin Sheen. So what kind of a man was Jesus? Jesus was a strange man indeed, a confused man and a crazy man, but he doesn't deserve the abominable treatment meted out to him by the Christian churches. He doesn't deserve to be sodomized by every filthy priest, pastor and preacher who has learned how to make money by corrupting his ministry.

CALCULATED DISOBEDIENCE

Jesus told his followers, "Do not pray in public as the hypocrites do". What's the first thing your church encourages you to do? Attend church and pray in public! The church – every church – knows that by encouraging you to disobey Jesus your chances of entering heaven are diminished. But the churches can't make money out of you if you obey Jesus, so they lie to you. And you, because you are too busy, too lazy or too stupid to read the Bible, have no idea when you're being lied to.

More than anything else, Jesus hated hypocricy – "Ye serpents, ye vipers, how can ye avoid the fires of hell?" – and yet every church in the world is owned and run by hypocrites; men whose only real interests in life are power and money. Power over you and money in their bank accounts.

Jesus made it crystal clear to everyone that it is impossible for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven – "It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven" – yet the Catholic Church and its directors have, by pissing on Jesus, become wealthy beyond measure. Many of the world's most successful ministers are multi millionaires, and very, very few church men struggle to make ends meet. According to Jesus they are all doomed to hell and they want to drag you down with them!

MINIATURIZED GODS

It's not just Christianity that reduces god to the level of a circus clown. Consider Islam. Millions of Muslim women have been brainwashed to believe that god expects them to cover their heads with a scarf. Given the choice between a non Muslim without a scarf and a Muslim with cloth covering her head, god favors the latter.

What utter crap!

And Jews prance around with little skull caps called yarmulkes perched precariously on their dumb heads because god likes it that way. While praying they attach black cubes to their foreheads and they wind straps around their forearms because it pleases god. And just to be on the safe side the extra godly ones let their sideburns grow long and curly and they flop up and down and backwards and forwards like rocking noddies.

What absolute unadulterated garbage!

This miniaturized god that Jews, Christians and Muslims worship is just as ridiculous as Monty Python's dead parrot.

THE REAL WILD CHURCH

So what does the 'Real Wild Church' know that other churches don't know? We know that God (capital 'G' now) should not be miniaturized and ridiculed. God should not be blamed for mankind's atrocities. If Jews steal other people's land and bulldoze their homes – as happens all the time in Palestine – they should take responsibility for their atrocities and not blame God. If Muslims strap bombs to themselves and blow commuters to death they should take responsibility for their atrocities and not blame God. If Americans bomb thousands of innocent civilians to death, as happened in Vietnam, Panama and Iraq, they should take responsibility for their atrocities and not blame God.

If men and women want to prance around in silly hats, funky little bits of cloth and stupid black cubes sellotaped to their dumb foreheads they should admit that they do so because they have been brainwashed and they are too robotized to refuse. They should not accuse God of being a petty and trivial twerp.

So what, or who, is the Real Wild Church? We are ZenGnostics, a small group of ordinary people who are sick to death of lies. We are sick to death of hearing that God said this and God did that God expects this, that or the other of us.

The moment someone claims to know what God said, what God did or God expects, you know you're listening either to a fool or a liar, or both. Think about it for just one moment; we are talking here about the force that created the entire universe and every living thing within it. Would such a force incinerate thousands of children and babies because some adults engaged in sodomy? Would God make people drink urine? Would God boast that he could play tunes through his anus? Would God give men haemorrhoids and force parents to eat their own children?

If you answer "yes" to those questions then you are a lost cause. You must hate your god with every cell and fibre in your body.

The Biblical god was fabricated by ignorant savages, it's as plain as the nose on your face. By rejecting such a hideous deity you open your mind to other possibilities. Let's say that there is a Universal Creator, a Divine Force, surely it's better to try and understand it than to reduce it to the level of a dog's turd and call it the real deal?

ARMAGEDDON THEOLOGY

42% of the population of the United States of America believes Armageddon Theology. In other words, they are convinced that god wants a nuclear war. God wants humanity and the animal kingdom destroyed. The only survivors – apparently – will be cockroaches and "born-again" fundamentalists who believe such crap. But here's the scary part – thousands of those born-again fundamentalist lunatics serve in the US military. They fly stealth bombers, they command and crew nuclear submarines, they serve in pairs down missile silos and they program Pentagon computers. How do I know? Because how could it be otherwise? Is anyone going to refuse them employment simply because they are Christians? Far from it, chances are they are more likely to get the job if they believe the recommended nonsense.

This is the Invasion of the Mind Snatchers! Forget global warming, as serious as it is humanity and most animals will survive the loss of land and some incredibly bad weather. What we can't survive is nuclear war.

Believers in the miniaturized, bastardized, corrupted and sodomized gods don't care. Why? Because they are going to be "raptured" up to heaven while you and your family and all your loved ones will burn to death in a nuclear holocaust.

The Judeao/Christian/Muslim mini-gods are looking forward to it with gleeful anticipation. Are you going to stand by doing nothing while they achieve their goal?
