The Zephyr 4 was fitted with the engine used in the Corsair, a four cylinder in 60-degree V formation with overhead valves. The engine capacity of 1996cc produced 88bhp at 4750 rpm. The car came as standard with a four speed manual gearbox, but with the option of a 3 speed automatic transmission.
