This film is about a man named Edward who was made by a scientist in a gigantic mansion. The scientist had almost finished Edward, and all he had to do was put hands on him, and then he would be complete, but in the mean time he had scissors for hands to get use to the feel. When the scientist had finally made the hands, he died, and never had time to put the hands on, and Edward was stuck in the mansion all alone. Edward wondered about the outside world, but never had the curage to go. He would stay triming bushes, and made extraordinary things  One day a lady noticed the mansion and went inside. She found Edward siting in the corner of the highest floor of the house. She felt sorry for him, so she took his to her house.
Edward learned everything about the real world, and made friends from his cutting technique's. Edward even liked a girl named Kim.
He also trys to play with the kids, but ends up hurting them, and people start to dislike him. Then when a truck was about to hit a kid, Edward jumped to protect him,he saved him, but he put a little cut on his cheek.
