Chapter 5: After the Battle

Back to Chapter 4?

  1. Sit back and let your fingers relax. The chapter begins with a scene in the Opposito's camp. You eventually wind up with Usagi, Chibi Usa, Hotaru, and Setsuna in your party. Head home, taking care of whatever chores you want along the way.

Something to do might be to go to the Infinity Academy area (take the bus outside Maison Apartments) and sell your Collector's Items.

  2. After getting to your house (just go left from Mamoru's), go into Shingo's room - it's on the second floor, on the left, "bottom" side of the hall. Yay, boss battle already!

Kishal, Anshar's pet, or guardian, or.. something.. challenges your skills this time. However, with Kishal's low hp of 17,000, he's a breeze compared to Sin or Esmeraude.

  3. After a short scene, go to the Hikawa Shrine. The senshi decide to go to the future, to restore their destinies. However, Fiore turns up at the door of Space-Time. Tuxedo Kamen stays behind to battle it out with Fiore; however, since Mamoru/Kamen is a non-playable character, you don't have to fight that one.

  4. In the future, things seem a little odd, starting with the Crystal Palace. The Opposito Senshi come in on cue and issue their challenge. Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Mercury are caught in illusions set by the Opposito Senshi; oddly, the illusions are like the continuations of their dreams from earlier in Chapter 1.

  5. Once you have control again, split everyone up into their groups. Another scene delays gameplay, and then you finally get control of Sailor Moon's group.

At the Dark Palace, there are four groups of youma that you might face. One is Grisina, hp 15,500. Another is Princess Snow Kaguya, who has 9000 to 9300 hp. Then there's Combater A, with 9500 hp. Last is a combination of two Door Knobs and a V-Bahra, who have 5000 hp each. Items dropped are useful things such as Bentou Sets, Toilettes, Colognes, and Fragrances.

Walk straight in; the corridors to the left and right just circle the middle room. The warp is the same as those in the UFO from Chapter 4.

  6. The second chamber has an exit above and stairs below. Take the stairs down, around, and then go up the next set of stairs. Go straight back for one more battle against the Opposito Senshi. Before facing them, though, make sure that you've saved. The Oppositos have been super-powered since your last encounter with them; you don't want to have to go through all that work only to have game-over.

Nergal and Marduk attack first. They've gained new attacks - Hell Thunder and Dark Thunder for Marduk and H-Lame Heart and Dark Fire for Nergal; and both can now use Fascination. They're extremely powerful; although back row, defensive senshi last longer, hurting these two from the back row is rather hard.

Second to attack are Nabu and Ishtar. They're easier to beat, despite having higher heatlh. They also have new attacks - Hell Shower and Dark Bute for Ishtar, and Hell Freezing and Dark Water for Nabu - and both can use Fascination.

Last to attack is Sin - her specials are Hell Attack, Evil Surge, and Barrier. She has the highest health yet (40,000 hp), but since she attacks by herself, she's slightly easier than Nergal and Marduk, but harder than Ishtar and Nabu.

The best strategy to use is to focus on defeating one of the Opposito Senshi, and then focusing on the other.

    Suggested level: 75

  7. Once you beat all five Opposito senshi, Shingo is freed and you're returned to Chibi-Usa's team back in Crystal Tokyo. There are youma wandering about, but as long as your party is around level 40 or so, you'll do okay. The youma are V-Henshu, Dharma, and Chargama, all of about 6,000 to 7,500 hp.

  8. As you wander around outside the Crystal Palace, you'll notice some large blue crystals along the outermost pathway. Walk into them to begin a boss fight with one of the Witches 5. If you can beat any of them at your current level, you can beat all of them. They're all about the same difficulty - at about level 45, they can be defeated easily.

    Locations of the Witches 5:
    Top Left: Eudial
    Top Right: Mimette
    Bottom Left: Tellu
    Bottom Center: Cyprine & Ptilol
    Bottom Right: Viluy

  9. Once you've beaten all five, you can enter the Crystal Palace. On entering, go to the side of the stairs, enter any of the rooms, go to the back corridor and enter the far right room. Talk to the man in there to receive 10 Angel Hairpins - but you get them ONLY if you've managed to complete the puzzle!

Alternatively, take the middle-bottom door in the back corridor to find a Luna-P.

  10. Go back to the main room and head upstairs - offshooting hallways contain empty rooms and zero boxes. So keep heading down a direct path through the center of the Palace until you get to the Throne Room and meet Anshar.

You'll be forced to fight him - but he's another easy boss battle, with only 35,000 hp and a special attack of Whirlwind cut.

  11. After the ensuing cut-scene, all the senshi meet outside the Tower of Time. Choose your four favorites to accompany Sailor Moon (I recommend using the senshi that you beat the Opposito Senshi with) and head into the tower of time. The monsters haven't changed since Chapter 4 - the Darians and Canapura's stats aren't even beefed up to offer a challenge, either.

At the end of the Tower of Time, you meet Apsu - hey, it's the final boss fight! Or is it? With a huge hp of 60,000 hp, this has the potential to be a long fight if your senshi's levels are too low. My senshi were at level 84 to 88, and with the use of an attack-up item, all my strong attackers were doing maximum damage every hit.

  12. After the battle with Apsu, everyone is ready go home, but it isn't over quite yet. Back inside the Crystal Palace, Sailor Moon purifies the incoming comet. And you get to take the treasure from the Throne Room boxes - a Crystal Cologne in the left box, and a Crystal Drop in the right.

To make things easier for you, if you believe your senshi aren't at a high enough level, you can leave the Crystal Palace to fight more V-Henshu, Dharma, and Chargama.

Head down to the basement of the Palace - bottom floor, any door to the side of the stairs, back corridor, middle-bottom door, and down the stairs next to the Luna-P.

Take only your strongest senshi into this final battle against Apsu - her health has doubled to 120,000. Her special attacks are Hell Attack and Sonic Wave.

NOTE: You get a different ending depending on if you defeat Apsu with Sailor Moon or Sailor ChibiMoon. To fight with Sailor ChibiMoon's team, you must lose the battle with Sailor Moon's team.

  13. Once you've beaten Demon Apsu, you're done! Congratulations! You've beaten the game and all you have left to do is watch the ending scenes and credits.
