Tips and Tricks

If you're ever left not knowing where to go/what to do, talk to the people in the area. You'll eventually stumble across someone who'll ask if you know where to go next. Answer that you don't know, and he or she will help you out.

When in doubt, trust defense. You have a better chance of surviving if the monster is too strong for you.

Lower EP-cost attacks sometimes do as much or more damage than higher cost attacks.

Look in every nook and cranny for boxes or hidden items/puzzles pieces. You might find something.

If you're low on health and trying to get to the nearest town, open the Main Menu every 6 or 7 steps. Monsters can attack you generally after 7 steps. Opening the Main Menu resets the step counter to 0, meaning you can go another 7 steps without a battle.

Find at least 4 of the hidden puzzle pieces to be able to obtain a powerful accessory before fighting the final boss.

If you're having trouble beating a boss, try leveling up some more. Often, a level or two can make a difference in winning boss battles.

Link Attacks get stronger as you continue to use them. However, in some cases, it may be better to use a regular technique rather than a Link Attack.

There is a Luna P ball in every inn. Every inn costs 500 yen to stay the night.

If you go up first thing as you walk through the woods, you'll find an invisible path with a clearing at the end. A guy is in there, and he'll give you a puzzle piece if you talk to him.
