History

.....In the summer of 1941, in the northernmost reaches of Canada, near the Alaskian Territory, the secluded Native American Quintonta tribe was set upon by a troop of Nazi soldiers. When the soldiers began to order the natives about, the tribal leader rebelled and was killed. His son, Flying Fox, attacked the Nazis, and was also killed. The young man's body was taken by his grandfather, the tribal shaman, to a remote cave sacred to his tribe. There, after several days and using his native magicks, revived the boy.

.....While dead, the boy met with his ancestors, and he was told that he was to use the second chance to aid the warriors to the south ( the Canadians, Americans and British ) to defeat the Nazis before they destroyed all they held dear.

.....Using his new found abilites, Flying Fox flew down to New York City, where an old newspaper told of the meeting of The All-Star Squadron. Wanting to join the group, he instead joined the Young All-Stars, a group of younger heroes. He remained with the group for several months, and when the group had been disbanded, he returned to Canada. It is not known if he ever returned to the United States, or anything of his history after June, 1942.

Powers and Abilities

.....Flying Fox, after being raised from the dead by his shaman grandfather, was imbued with an inate sensitivity for things mystical. He was in the possession of a pouch containing mystical herbs and powders, which he could use in casting spells, such as invisibility, illusion casting, and other properties. He was also in possession of a cloak that allowed him to fly and protect him from severe atmospheric conditions such as cold. Since he was young and unpracticed, it is not known the limits of his capabilities. He was also unfamiliar with many aspects of the modern world.
