She...is beautiful
She is rain, refreshing
She is who will
and a blessing
Before
many knocked
few came in the door
It was never locked
Of those...that came in
one...was...fantasy
as I learned that feelings win.
One knew me
yet, she only had one foot in
such doubt is what hinders
her, throughout life
hesitate, meander
It's not quite
right
Looking at whats wrong,
what can I fix.
Never singing a song
looking, does it mix
At times being..used
felt like a pawn
always lose
never a dawn
Another, obsessed
expecting everything
and tried to posess
defensive, arguing
Found some eternal friends
whom I'll love to the end
Now she, the one, is here
risking, embracing and loving
who I am
as I am
As I do in return
A future...we are
every day, never the same
Oh! I so yearn
that she be not far
When you love
acceptance is key
do anything, come from above
giving it all, it's free.
