NAME: Taribo Mobeza
TYPE: Epichantix Warrior / Con Artist
GENDER/SPECIES: Epicanthix Male
HOME PLANET: Panatha
AGE: 26   Height: 184 cm Weight: 84 kg.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: small for his species, but reasonably tall and well built for human standards, he has brown hair and eyes. Like most of his sub-species, he is considered handsome by human standards. His skin is fairly tanned and together with the hair, which he keeps very long (well beneath the shoulder) give him a "wild" appearance even when he dresses up elegantly. However, he prefers to stick to his home world's warrior tradition and wears his old leather cerimonial uniform whenever he can. When he wears them, he looks even more wild and has that way fascinated many human females. He often use his original charm and beauty for his own ends, though... He also likes to keep an image of naivety that however does not reflect his own personality

BACKGROUND: When Taribo was 14 he was enrolled to train in Panatha Military Academy to become a Royal Guard. There he studied hard and learned to fight. When he was 16, he was given a uniform and a Panatha Rembolin baby (see description at the end) , which he named Marpion. Soon after, however, he got sick and had a strange disease from an alien he met that almost killed him. He spent 2 years in hospital almost under coma and finally he completely healed. Doctros say his attachment to the little pet gave him the strenght to survive. However, during his disease he lost his last two years of growth. At eighteen, when every Epichantix male stops growing, he was still "only" 184 cm tall, and did not reach the 200 minimum requirement to enter the Royal Guards. Once he got back to the Academy, fearing for his career, he sliced into the computer and found that he was going to be cut from the Royal Guard the next day, and so he decided to escape before they could take Marpion away from him. He disguised himself (thing he always mastered) as his own grandfather (which was about his height), stole his pass, and took all the money he had earned at the Academy and bought the first flight off planet. The shuttle was flying to Nal Hutta, and so the young warrior found himself one of the most dangerous places in the Galaxy, armed only with his cerimonial weapons and his abilities. Somehow, he managed to survive, and started working for a smuggler named Friz Taer that took him to Smuggler's Moon. He worked as a body guard, at first, but when the old smuggler realised his con and charm abilities, he started using them more wisely. Taribo started acting for the smuggler, at times playing the part of an Imperial Officer, other times that of a bounty hunter: always depending on the need. This way, him and Friz Taer managed to fool a lot of people and their money increased enormously. Taer tought him to gamble and the secrets of the Underworld, as well as how to fire with a blaster. However, one day Taer was shot dead by a bounty hunter, which Taribo furiously eliminated. After that, he was left on his own, with Taer's ship. He couldn't pilot, though, so he sold it and put together some money and started gambling. His fortune went up and down, never really losing or winning, but Taribo soon grew tired of it and of Nal Shadda. He was about to live for Corellia when he met a Sullustan that proposed him a deal. The Sullustan used to be a pilot for the Ylesian Colony and had recently escaped. He knew of a freighter that would be leaving from Nal Hutta to go to Ylesia and pick up a cargo of Ryll. He proposed that the two would substitute themselves to the pilots and pick up the spice and then run away. For this the Sullustan needed Taribo's con skills. Taribo accepted without knowing that the Ylesian colony, actually, belonged to the Hutts... Anyway, substituting to the piltos was easy enough, and two quick blows from his Epichantix knife finished the deal. Once on Ylesia, Taribo acted his part like never before, and conned the T'landa Til to give them the spice. They left, all happy, and headed to the Core Worlds to sell the precious spice. Little did Taribo know that the Besadii Hutt clan was already on his tail and had warned a corrupted Imperial Corvette of their arrival, the Corvette that was supposed to deliver the Ryll back to the Hutts. So the Sullustans ship was boarded, but Taribo was crazy enough to surpise attack the squad of Imperial Stormtroopers that boarded them. He elimitad the back two with stealthy moves of his knive in their neck. Seeing Taribo, the Sullustan put the engine on full trust and separated from the Corvette. Before the Imps could react, the Sullustan pushed the hyperspace button, hoping they wouldn't end in a Nova. The Stormtroopers remaining aboard shot the Sullustan dead, but could not stop the ship. Taribo was now left hidden with 4 Stormies on a ship (two ran back on the Corvette when they realized what was happening). Somehow he managed to kill them and he found himself alone on a ship he couldn't pilot. With luck he didn't end in a Nova, but near an inhabited system, Sluis Van. There he managed to sell the Spice and with the money started travelling around the Core World, unaware that the Hutts had put a bounty on his head, small, but still a bounty. The Imperials were also after him, as the two escaping Stormtroopers managed to make a brief description, but nothing too really worry about. In the core he started conning people and gambling again, and in one game, he lost all his wealth. He started thieving from the Imperials, to get his money back, but never really got much. He spent his last years like that, mainly thinking of satisfying his sexual desires and dodging bounty hunters. However, after his more recent thieving and conning misdeeds, the Imperial pressure got always stronger, and Taribo was forced to keep changing identities and moving around. Somehow he arrived on board the StarForge Station and heard of a privateer ship recruiting people. He soon re-entered his real identity, with his cerimonial armor, and, with his fellow pet, asked to be the ship's con man, the one that would do negotiations and get impossible deals, obviously as well as fight and sneak behind the enemy lines...

Panatha Rembolins:
Panatha Rembolins are small pets (the size of a hand), that have a humanoid resembling shape. They are hairy and fairly advanced intelligence for animals. They can be instructed simple commands and are very loyal to their owner. They normally stay in a specially designed pocket on the Epichantix warrior's royal guards cerimonial and combat uniform. They are used by the soldiers to send messages to each other and in case of necessity to call for help. Their use is not that great as it was millenia ago, but for tradition they have been mantained. However, Rembolins were also used by privates as company pets. The animals turned out to be very useful also because of their very good smelling, often used in tracking down enemies or preys. Marpion was taken by Taribo with him when he escaped Panatha 10 years ago. Taribo greatly enjoys the little being's company and wouldn't separate from it for any reason. Note: Marpion is the only thing that Taribo never bet while gambling.
