Waltzing with the Stars I

Introduction

Ancient Chinese believe that there is a one-to-one correspondence between the stars in Heaven and the people on Earth. Bigger, brighter stars relate to noble people while dimmer stars belong to ordinary people. There are many romantic novels about people and stars. The souls of the heroes fly to Heaven after death and go back to their own stars. They continue to affect the people on Earth. Their personalities are reflections of the different faces of people. Their stories continue even after thousands of years. All things that happen today are mere repetitions of history.

Zi Wei Dou Shu is an attempt to build a model that corresponds to what happened thousands of years ago. Although the life a person in the modern world cannot be the same as one who lived thousands of years ago, the person may be carrying the personality of someone in the past. A more reasonable hypothesis is that each person possesses some of the qualities of a group of stars. It is not difficult to visualize that a person may inherit several different characters from people who lived before.

Imagine that we can create robots with personalities, emotions and abilities to learn and apply the acquired knowledge. If we know what memories we have input into each robot, it is not too difficult to predict what would happen when we place the robots to interact in a world of their own. It needs only a little imagination and creativity to write stories of the robots since we know their reactions to different situations, and their ways of handling changes.

Zi Wei Dou Shu is a highly mathematical way of analyzing the life of a person. Not only do we need mathematics to draw a star chart, the entire process is actually based on the Model Theory. In Mathematics we use models. In Physics we use models. In Economics we use models. In Zi Wei Dou Shu we use models. It is no different than a subject that is based on scientific principles.

The key to the realm of this fantastic subject is the understanding of the nature of the stars. They are to be treated as living energies, living in the sense that they possess unique personalities. They come together to visit the earth at different times. When a baby is born, it will carry the prevailing energies of these celestial visitors. The Zi Wei star chart will tell us all.

How the Story Begins

About three thousand one hundred and forty years ago, China was ruled by a tyrant in the Shang Dynasty. It was the reign of the notorious Zhou Wang.

One day the King and his generals went hunting. They chased a deer into the wilderness and all of a sudden dark clouds gathered. The lightning in the distant sky was warning them of a thunder storm approaching. The King and his followers had to give up the deer and were on their return journey. The storm came faster than their horses.

"Lo and behold! There is a temple!" The King was overjoyed. They went into the temple shivering in the cold.

In the temple there was a statue of the Mystical Lady from the Nine Heavens . The King was captivated by the beauty of the statue. He felt a stream of warm blood flowing through his body. His eyes were flaring with sex desire.

"Go get this lady. I want her to be my concubine." He gave an irrational order to his generals. He thought, "The sculptor must have seen her or he could not have created such breath taking beauty."

The goddess was there all the time. She was very angry at the way the lustful King looked at her statue. She swore she was going to destroy him and his empire...
