| Trapper John was Hawkeye's friend and partner in crime in the 4077, in fact, they were buddies before coming to Korea. Trapper had a wife and two daughters, but had no problem with chasing nurses during his tour of duty. Trapper was discharged from the army, and went home, after his third season on the television show. Hawkeye never even got to say goodbye. |

| Wayne Rogers, the man who was Trapper John for three years, left M*A*S*H because he felt that Captain McIntyre wasn't being explored deeply enough in the script, and was tired of being second fiddle to Hawkeye. He had a degree from Princeton in history, was in the Navy, and is now a successful businessman, but doesn't act much, unfortunatly for us all. |
